The Wall of Honor is divided into several sections:
Hospital History
The arched plaque located at the center gives viewers a quick visual and
written history of Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Vignettes showing the
hospital as it was in 1924, 1951, 1977 and today demonstrate Pitt
Memorial's extraordinary growth and leadership in state, regional and
national healthcare arenas.

This plaque honors individuals, corporations and organizations whose
gifts helped furnish the current hospital facility, which was dedicated
in 1977. This listing includes donations received between 1977-1984 by
the hospital's Gifts Committee, the predecessor of the Pitt Memorial
Hospital Foundation.
The Heritage Society
The individuals honored on this plaque have supported quality healthcare
delivery with planned gifts to the Pitt Memorial
Hospital Foundation.
The Pride and The Challenge Capital Campaign 1988-1994
This plaque recognizes those who contributed to the Foundation's Capital
Campaign, which helped build the Foundation's endowment fund.
Distinguished Donors
This plaque honors friends of the Foundation who have reached an
